Becoming a member of lighthouse shows your dedication to this body of believers and their mission as a church.
Why is being a member important?
Membership brings accountability to both you and the congregation. It shows your commitment to the church and allows church members to hold you accountable in your walk with Jesus and commitment to the church.
Membership allows you to use your gifts and talents in this church body - essentially, it allows you to start serving on a team!
“For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.” - Romans 12:4-5
How can i become a member?
Becoming a member at Lighthouse is easy! Simply attend our membership class (Core Class). Once you have completed the Core Class, you are offered the opportunity to publicly become an official member of the Lighthouse Church family - how exciting!!
Membership Classes
Membership classes are taught by Pastor Lane and occur once per quarter. At Lighthouse our membership class is called Core. Classes are 6 weeks long and include information on the doctrine, foundations, and mission of our church. During the class you will also learn about our many ministries and discover your best fit to serving on one of our teams.
The 5 steps to becoming a member of Lighthouse are:
After your first few visits to the church, you will be invited to our Pastor’s Breakfast. Here you will be welcomed to our church body with a hot prepared breakfast.
Membership Classes will begin the following week and go for 6 weeks.
Upon completing the Core class you will become a formal member of the church. At this time you can also be baptized if you have not done so yet.
Join a discipleship group to get connected to a small group of members.
Join a team and begin serving using your specific gifts and talents!

Classes meet in the Fellowship Hall in the lower level of the building. Class starts at 9:00am.
