FOLLOW JESUS
You just gave your life to Christ for the first time.
Today you responded to these incredible truths:
God created you and loves you.
You recognized that you are living a life full of sin.
Sin separates you from God.
You need a Savior to save you from your sin.
Jesus Christ is our Savior. He died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins. He lived a holy and blameless life and then took on the punishment we deserved so that we can live fully accepted by God (John 3:16).
You confessed your sins to God, chose to turn to Him and put your faith in Jesus, and are now fully forgiven!
This scripture can be used to help us better understand salvation.
“That if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.” - Romans 10:9-10
If you took these steps and accepted Christ for the first time today, please fill out this card. We would love to pray with you and support you in your relationship with Jesus!
What’s Next?
“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” - Romans 5:8
Christianity is about having a relationship with God; not just knowing that He exists, but longing to know him more personally and intimately.
Here are three important practices to help you grow in your relationship with Jesus every day.
READING THE BIBLE
We believe that the Bible is God’s inspired word. It is the final authority on all matters of faith and practice.
“All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” - 2 Timothy 3:16-17
Here are a few tips as you begin your journey through the Word of God:
Choose a translation that is easy for you to read. Some good examples are NIV, NLT, or ESV.
Don’t begin on page one, instead begin with the Gospel of John.
Make Bible reading a daily habit by finding a consistent time set aside each day.

PRAYER
Prayer is our way to communicate with God. You can think of your prayers just as conversations with God. Because Jesus has forgiven you, you can have faith that God hears your prayers.
“This, then, is how you should pray: ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.’” - Matthew 6:9-13
Some Ways to Pray:
Worship - we were made to worship God! Sing of your love and adoration for Him!
Meditate - focus on a few scriptures and ask God to reveal his truth to you as you memorize those verses.
Ask - bring specific needs and requests for yourself and others and pray for these requests in faith!
Listen - Focus on the voice of the Holy Spirit. Write down what he is saying to you.
RELATIONSHIPS
Connecting with others is one of the main ways we grow in our faith with Jesus.
“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another - and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” - Hebrews 10: 24-25
